Ceramic Coatings and Surface Protection

Automotive Nano Ceramic Pro Coatings

Ceramic Pro is a clear, liquid nano-ceramic coating that can be applied in multiple layers. Upon curing, it transforms into a permanent, durable, and flexible glass shield on the surface. Ceramic Pro acts as an additional clear coat, offering three times the hardness and self-cleaning capabilities. Ceramic Pro 9H offers permanent protection with a single application if properly maintained. Once cured, it can only be removed by abrasion methods.

Ceramic Pro exhibits a hardness exceeding 9H, which is substantially tougher than the normal clear coat's 2H to 4H hardness range. It provides a protective barrier that helps prevents minor scratches on your clearcoat, serving as a sacrificial layer to preserve the vehicle's original factory paint. Surface scratches on the coating can be removed with light polishing without compromising the original clear coat's integrity. Ceramic Pro also protects against UV-induced fading and aging of your paint. Consider it an extra layer of clear coat that is considerably harder, ensuring greater peace of mind and allowing you to enjoy your vehicle without worry, even under severe conditions.

 FAQs

  • Ceramic Pro is a multi-layerable, clear, liquid nano-ceramic coating. When cured, this technology will transform itself on the surface to a permanent, durable yet flexible glass shield. Ceramic Pro can be described as an additional clear coat, with 3 times the hardness and self cleaning properties.

  • That’s the great thing about Ceramic Pro Products. Water and a mild soap or dish soap will do the trick. Good bye harsh chemicals.

  • Yes, Ceramic Pro cannot be washed away like a wax or sealant giving it long lasting results, use of abrasion (wetsand/compound/polish) will remove Ceramic Pro coatings.

  • No, Ceramic Pro will not prevent water spotting, but it WILL allow those pesky waterspots to be removed without damaging the surface. Because Ceramic Pro creates a protective layer over the substrate, it does not allow the minerals to corrode or etch the surface that Ceramic Pro is protecting, prolonging the life of your metals, paints, gelcoat, plastics, vinyls etc.

  • Ceramic Pro is the only manufacture to offer a Lifetime warranty that is verified through Carfax.

  • You should wait 10-14 days before the 1st wash to allow the solvents to outgas and the coating to fully cure. If you notice that your car gets water spots, bird droppings, tree sap etc. during these two weeks immediately remove it following our care instructions. Keep in mind the coating is softer so work on the paint very gently.

  • While paint correction can enhance the appearance and durability of ceramic coating, it is not mandatory for every vehicle. Some factors that may influence the need for paint correction are:

    - The condition of the paint. If the paint is relatively new and free of major defects, paint correction may not be required.

    - The color of the paint. Darker colors tend to show more swirls and scratches than lighter colors, so they may benefit more from paint correction.

    - The expectations of the owner. Some owners may be satisfied with the level of gloss and protection that ceramic coating alone can offer, while others may seek a flawless finish that requires paint correction.

Ultimately, the decision to perform paint correction before ceramic coating is up to the owner and their budget, time, and preferences. Paint correction is not mandatory when ceramic coating vehicles, but it can improve the results.

  • Only Ceramic Pro certified installers.
